Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or damage.
- Control access to premises by maintaining a strong presence and verifying visitor credentials.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, following established protocols.
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Monitor and operate security systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarms.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to visitors and employees.
- Stay updated on security trends, procedures, and technologies to continually improve performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid security guard license and certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills may be preferred depending on the location).
