Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the fit-out process, ensuring all work adheres to the project specifications and timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret drawings and implement design concepts effectively on-site.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality workmanship.
Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, to maintain transparency and accountability.
Implement site-specific risk assessments and health and safety protocols to safeguard workers and minimize project risks.
Assist in resolving any on-site issues promptly, employing problem-solving skills to avoid project delays.
Facilitate regular communication between stakeholders, including clients and project managers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
Monitor material usage and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and effective waste management practices.
Document and report progress to senior management, ensuring accurate records for future reference and project evaluations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for a solid technical foundation.
Experience in working with high-end commercial or residential fit-outs is highly desirable to meet client expectations.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) enhances efficiency in task tracking.
Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations is crucial for compliance and successful project execution.
Proficient in both English and the local language to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams and clients.
Excellent organizational skills, coupled with the ability to multitask, are vital to manage various project aspects simultaneously.
Strong leadership qualities, with a track record of managing teams effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Physical stamina and the ability to navigate construction sites safely, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
