We Are Hiring FITOUT SITE ENGINEER For Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the fit-out process, ensuring all work adheres to the project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret drawings and implement design concepts effectively on-site.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality workmanship.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Implement site-specific risk assessments and health and safety protocols to safeguard workers and minimize project risks.
- Assist in resolving any on-site issues promptly, employing problem-solving skills to avoid project delays.
- Facilitate regular communication between stakeholders, including clients and project managers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor material usage and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and effective waste management practices.
- Document and report progress to senior management, ensuring accurate records for future reference and project evaluations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for a solid technical foundation.
- Experience in working with high-end commercial or residential fit-outs is highly desirable to meet client expectations.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) enhances efficiency in task tracking.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations is crucial for compliance and successful project execution.
- Proficient in both English and the local language to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills, coupled with the ability to multitask, are vital to manage various project aspects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a track record of managing teams effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Physical stamina and the ability to navigate construction sites safely, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
