Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Create detailed architectural drawings and blueprints using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to building codes.
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to translate conceptual designs into practical construction documents.
Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project feasibility, providing valuable input during the design phase.
Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, maintaining clear communication to ensure alignment with project goals.
Incorporate sustainable design principles into drafting work, promoting environmentally friendly practices in architecture.
Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring easy access for team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in preparing project presentations and proposals, effectively communicating design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements, continuously improving skills and incorporating new techniques into drafting work.
Support the permitting process by preparing and submitting necessary documentation to local authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on drafting expertise and technical knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience of at least 3 years in architectural drafting, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, showcasing technical skills in creating detailed and accurate drawings.
Certification in architectural drafting or design from a recognized institution, highlighting commitment to professional development.
Experience in residential and commercial project types, indicating versatility and a broad understanding of architectural requirements.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all drafting work.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with architects, clients, and contractors.
Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, minimizing errors and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
