Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

To ensure optimum repair quality for service customer vehicle in accordance with BMW Group and AGMC standard and successfully contribute in achieving Service Department target and the organization vision and mission

To repair and overhaul the mechanical parts of motor vehicles such as the engine, the transmission (clutch, gear box and differential), and the suspension systems (springs, steering, brakes, wheels and tires).

Job Responsibility:

· Carries out technical maintenance, inspection and repair work for electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.

· Notifies the service advisor and service assistant immediately of work interruptions as a result of additionally required work, complications, missing parts or missed deadlines

· Uses checklists/ repair instructions, tools and test equipment adhered to current BMW guidelines.

· Handles tools, special tools work clothing etc. properly.

· Uses equipment cost- effectively.

· Hands over dismantled, replacement or warranty parts to warranty department cleaned and labelled.

· Disposes waste according to local legislated guidelines

· Observes accident prevention guidelines and reporting incidents to his or her supervisor.

· Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction and retention at all times.

· Handling customer complaints and ensure corrective action has been taken.

· Focus on quality of customer service .

· Support overall objectives of the department.

· Encourage & Maintain a high level of team sprit within the department.

· Should be team orientated, working as a team member assisting and supporting their colleagues and other departments in achieving a shared vision.

· Communicates ideas and plans with clarity and purpose driven by company values and the Division’s vision.

· Seeks, appreciates, assists, and participates significantly in unit specific projects or cross Divisional ones.

· Share responsibility for achieving customer growth and divisional targets.

· Attend, participate and contribute at team meetings.

· Manage personal time schedule and productivity.

· Maintain the highest levels of BMW product knowledge & competitive products. Through active use of e-learning media and participate on scheduled training.

· Maintain personal development& integrity, quality standards and business ethics.

· Takes the initiative, suggests improving works quality

Desired Candidate Profile

>Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent.

>ITI or technical certification from a recognized institution.

>Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury dealership as a technician.

>Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills using modern diagnostic tools.

>Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and engine systems.

>Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance on vehicles.

>Valid UAE driver’s license (advantage).

>Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

>Strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety protocols.
