Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into precise drawings that reflect design intent and functionality.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revisions and version control for all drafts.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions that inform drafting work.
- Implement best practices in drafting techniques, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support project management by providing timely updates on drafting progress and anticipated challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Fit out and Joinery.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks, essential for creating intricate designs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to drafting, ensuring compliance in all projects.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting, critical for producing high-quality technical documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing, facilitating collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex designs and translate them into actionable drafting plans.
