WE ARE HIRING - QUALITY CONTROL AND FINISHING SITE ENGINEER
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Supervision
>Effectively communicate tasks and requirements to an assigned team of workforce staff, taking project details from drawings, 2D or 3D through to completion.
>Travel daily to various construction sites and inspect the quality of finishing work and services.
>Collaborate with the Operations Team to create and buy lists of tools, materials, and equipment needed for each site.
>Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors involved in finishing activities.
>Resolve any issues that arise on-site promptly and efficiently.
Progress Monitoring
>Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and report on project status.
>Manage and update project plans, allocate work schedules with the Operations Team, and prioritize workflows based on the CEO's and Design Team's instructions.
>Provide daily reports on the progress and status of construction sites to all departments.
Quality Control
>Oversee finishing works with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring defects are rectified before final approval.
>Establish and enforce strict quality control standards for all finishing materials and workmanship.
>Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
Safety Management
>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards on-site.
>Develop and implement safety plans and procedures in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs Department.
Desired Candidate Profile
>Minimum of 3 years of experience in finishing works for interior design and construction projects.
>Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
>Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Slack, etc.).
>Proficiency in English and Arabic (French is a plus).
>Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
