Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified General Foreman with 8 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in managing construction teams and operations on high-end projects, particularly in 5-star hotels and schools. The role requires an immediate joiner to oversee and manage on-site operations and ensure the efficient execution of construction works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications.
- Lead and manage a team of skilled workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on the progress of work, including delays, materials, and labor costs.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Inspect materials and equipment for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimum disruption to the project.
- Ensure that workers follow the correct construction procedures and maintain the quality of work.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or issues on site.
- Ensure the project is progressing according to the timeline and that all milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction, with at least 4 years as a General Foreman on high-end projects (preferably 5-star hotels or schools).
- Proven experience in managing construction teams, site coordination, and supervision of various trades.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and project management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Availability to join immediately (within a month period) and preference for candidates currently in the UAE.
