Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage civil works across retail stores, hypermarkets, and warehouses.
- Oversee renovations, expansions, and maintenance activities as per retail design standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, an internal department.
- Ensure all civil works (structural, MEP, finishes) meet regulatory standards and company specifications.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress inspections.
- Prepare detailed site reports and documentation for management review.
- Support store opening schedules by delivering fit-out work on time.
- Maintain close coordination with retail operations to avoid disruption during project execution.
- Manage contractors on-site for civil, interior, and MEP-related work.
- Ensure all safety standards and protocols are followed at all project sites.
- Liaise with authorities for approvals and inspections when necessary.
- Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications provided by consultants
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution.
- 4–5 years of UAE experience, preferably who has experience in retail, commercial, or hypermarket projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, renovation works, and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with UAE municipal regulations, safety codes, and construction practices.
- Excellent project management, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools.
- UAE Driving License is must.
