Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
- Construct and repair frameworks, structures, and other parts of buildings.
- Follow blueprints, sketches, and building plans to meet project specifications.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to complete projects.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in carpentry (preferred but not required for freshers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or related training is a plus.
- Prior experience in carpentry (1-2 years preferred, but not mandatory).
