Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Architect specializing in kitchen and interior projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete design process, from concept through construction, ensuring that all aspects of the project meet both client expectations and regulatory standards. You will manage design workflows, project documentation, scheduling, and budgeting, while also coordinating with contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Construction Workflows:

o Lead the architectural design process for kitchen and interior projects, including initial concept development, design detailing, and final construction drawings. o Collaborate with designers, contractors, and consultants to ensure that the design intent is met and maintained throughout the project. o Review design plans, ensuring they comply with local building codes, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

2. Project Documentation & Record Keeping:

o Maintain detailed project records, including design plans, specifications, contracts, and reports. o Ensure accurate and organized documentation is kept throughout the project lifecycle, including updates to as-built drawings and change orders.

3. Contractual Reviews & Project Deliverables:

o Assist in reviewing and managing contracts to ensure that project scopes, deliverables, and client expectations are clearly defined. o Coordinate project deliverables, ensuring milestones are met within agreed timelines and budgets.

4. Project Planning & Scheduling:

o Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

o Monitor project timelines, anticipate potential delays, and proactively adjust schedules to meet deadlines.

5. Client Interaction & Communication:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on kitchen and interior design matters, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or feedback. o Present design proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their vision and goals.

6. Budget Management:

o Collaborate with the project team to establish project budgets, including material and labor costs. o Monitor financial performance throughout the project to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
