Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We seek an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee inventory control for an assigned section of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, efficient operations and exceptional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
2. Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and shipment of goods.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, promoting productivity and safety.
4. Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
5. Reporting and Analytics: Analyze inventory trends, provide insights and recommend process improvements.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Space Optimization: Maximize warehouse storage capacity and efficiency.
8. Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.
9. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements.
10. Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement and production.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Education: Preferred to have completed Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Experience: 1+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in inventory control.
Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions
Warehouse environment with occasional office work.
Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting ( light weight products ).
Frequent overtime may be required.
