Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, ensuring proper communication with local law enforcement if necessary.
- Monitor CCTV feeds in real-time to detect and respond to any suspicious activities, ensuring immediate reporting to relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to enforce safety protocols and deter potential security breaches, maintaining a visible presence.
- Implement access control measures, screening individuals and vehicles entering the facility to ensure only authorized personnel gain entry.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, providing comprehensive reports for management review.
- Engage with staff and visitors courteously, fostering a positive environment while remaining vigilant to security concerns.
- Utilize security technology effectively, including alarm systems and communication devices, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on security trends and best practices, attending training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises and property, identifying safety hazards and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Assist in the enforcement of company policies and regulations, promoting a safe and secure environment for all occupants.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further vocational training in security is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management or law enforcement is a plus.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in security roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity within a corporate environment.
- Possession of a valid security guard license and any required certifications in first aid or emergency response.
- Preference for candidates from the local region to ensure familiarity with community security dynamics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Strong technical skills in operating CCTV systems and security software for effective monitoring and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with personnel and visitors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, capable of motivating and guiding a team while maintaining operational discipline.
- A proactive mindset with strong analytical abilities, allowing for quick decision-making in high-pressure scenarios.
- Physically fit to conduct regular patrols and handle emergency situations as needed, meeting health and safety standards.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security or a related field, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for multicultural environments.
- Possession of a valid security license or certification according to local regulations is mandatory.
- Strong observation skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals and team members.
- A professional demeanor and ethical standards, reflecting integrity and respect in all interactions.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, respond quickly to emergencies, and perform necessary physical tasks.
