Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our Facades division. The role demands expertise in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring, with a focus on façade works. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time by closely coordinating with design, procurement, production, and installation teams. Your ability to anticipate risks, drive efficiency, and maintain accurate project controls will be key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project schedules for façade projects from design to delivery stages.
Prepare detailed work programs, identify critical paths, and ensure alignment with project milestones and contract requirements.
Work closely with internal teams (design, procurement, production, logistics, and site) to ensure smooth progress of works.
Track material requisitions, delivery schedules, and ensure alignment with project timelines.
Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing and availability of materials in line with project needs.
Provide early warning notifications for potential delays and propose mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
Prepare and present regular progress reports and dashboards to management and clients.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all planning and scheduling activities.
Participate in project meetings, contributing insights and updates on project progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in planning roles within the façade, construction, or related industries.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of façade systems, production timelines, and installation processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets to monitor project performance.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
