Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Material Engineer with a background in construction and civil engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction materials, experience in quality assurance, and a passion for optimizing material performance to support successful, sustainable, and cost-effective building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and select materials based on project requirements, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Perform quality assurance tests and evaluate materials for construction suitability.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and contractors for material specifications.
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor material application and performance.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
Analyze and resolve material-related issues during project execution.
Store management and Validating materials
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering environments.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials (concrete, steel, composites, etc.) and their properties.
Proficiency in material testing and quality control techniques.
Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards (ASTM, BS, ISO).
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
