Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chargehand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers on site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes in the Oil and Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues to the site manager.
- Assist in planning and scheduling work activities.
- Provide training and guidance to workers as needed.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are used efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chargehand or similar supervisory role in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Willingness to be based at various site locations and travel as required.
