Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Require detailed architectural shop drawings for the full package, including the general layout, ceiling, flooring, furniture, wall setting-out drawings, and joinery drawings.
- Collaborate closely with architects and interior designers to ensure alignment of technical drawings with project vision.
- Prepare and modify construction documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to address any design discrepancies and facilitate smooth execution.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data for creating precise fit-out plans.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all changes are documented clearly.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines, providing insight into drafting-related tasks.
- Maintain an organized archive of all project drawings and revisions for future reference and compliance.
- Ensure that all drawings are completed within project deadlines and adhere to budget constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve drafting techniques and project outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fit-out or interior design projects, demonstrating a proven track record.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit, enabling the creation of precise and detailed technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, ensuring all designs are compliant and safe.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing challenges proactively.
