Key Result Areas:

1. Conduct training needs analysis relevant to oil & gas sectors operational Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) risks to develop and deliver HSE training programs for all employees and external trainees to create awareness about promoting a safe working environment.

2. Deliver training courses as per HSE Training Plan to graduate Engineer employees and Operator/Technician employees as well as external trainees in consultation with the HSE department and technical departments and in line with the competency requirements and Operational Excellence Management Systems (OEMS) to orient employees and trainees on Company HSE policy and procedures.

3. Coordinate with international HSE training providers and certification agencies to organize and effectively conduct of certification programs for the employees/external trainees.

4. Plan, develop and conduct HSE training courses and refresher courses for the relevant Company personnel on operational procedures such as personal safety equipment, toxic and hazardous substances, permit to work, crane operation, risk assessments and accident investigations etc. for enabling them to ensure personal safety at work.

5. Manage and conduct HSE compliance training programs for the Company and ensure maintenance of relevant data for meeting Company's QMS and audit requirements.

6. Research & recommend relevant developments in HSE field to provide latest HSE training solutions to Head Professional Development for incorporating in future HSE training courses. Update all training courses including training equipment/aids and relevant instructional material on continuing basis to meet Company's competency framework requirements and to ensure that the training solutions are in line with industry best practices.

7. Provide on the job support to employees and trainees during and after training to ensure effective transfer of learning on the job.

Communications and Working Relationships:

Internal-
Communicates with Head Professional Development on continuous basis to review and identify training needs and provide relevant training solutions. Works closely with HSE and line departments in developing, scheduling and delivering a wide range of HSE related courses.

External-
Coordinates and build relationships with external suppliers, Certification Bodies and external HSE specialists to deliver on line and classroom based learning interventions to meet the business needs.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE training in the Oil & Gas industry with at least 5 years of experience in HSE/Safety related trainings including NEBOSH and IOSH.

Strong background in instructing HSE related training courses such as but not limited to H2S, HSE awareness, Confined space entry, Permit to Work, First Aid, Chemical handling, Risk Assessments, Fire Watch, basic Fire Fighting, Defensive Driving, Gas Testing, Lifting Operations, working on heights, etc.

Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training plans, curricula, and methodology.

Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with excellent presentation skills to deliver training programs.
